- You can contact us directly by phone or e-mail to get the help from an advocate for you or someone you know.
- As long as they give permission and are happy for us to be involved we can get in touch with them.
An Advocate can
- help make your voice heard
- help you find out information
- help you understand your choices
- help you understand your rights
Examples of things we could support you with:
- meetings
- writing letters and e-mails
- helping to get people to listen to you
- speaking to professionals
- some housing issues
- complaints
Examples of things
we don't help with:
- benefit applications
- tribunals & appeals (benefits)
- legal advice
- NHS complaints
