Empowering Choice In Care
The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a number of people ending up in being placed in inappropriate care situations following their discharge from hospital. It has also raised questions about the choices given to people with disabilities who having coped with lockdown and no longer want to go to day service placements that they find unrewarding and unfulfilling. 

What we are doing about it?


Our Empowering Choice in Care project is taking action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain the services they need. We aim to empower individuals to make their own choices and enable them to have the same rights and entitlements as all others, without reference to their age, disability, sexuality, gender, or race.
