How to make a referral

  • You can contact us directly by phone or e-mail to get the help from an advocate for you or someone you know.


  • As long as they give permission and are happy for us to be involved we can get in touch with them.



An Advocate can


  • help make your voice heard


  • help you find out information 


  • help you understand your choices


  • help you understand your rights

Examples of things we could support you with:


  • meetings
  • writing letters and e-mails
  • helping to get people to listen to you
  • speaking to professionals
  • some housing issues
  • complaints




Examples of things

we don't help with:




  • benefit applications
  • tribunals & appeals (benefits)
  • legal advice
  • NHS complaints
